Lori Idland
Advocacy Specialist

Lori assists SSI and SSDI beneficiaries in returning to work.

She says she enjoys helping people become independent and move into self-reliance and off benefits.

Lori began work at Disability Rights Montana as a paralegal on the Travis D. lawsuit. She is the parent of an adult child with a disability and needed to get services for her daughter in order for her to be more independent and maximize her independence and abilities. When the lawsuit settled, Lori then moved into an advocate position working in the area of special education. Looking to expand her abilities, Lori has now assumed responsibilities in social security and ticket-to-work cases.

Lori earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Great Falls. Her minor is Computer Systems Integration.
