Janice is originally from Lewistown, Montana. Upon graduation from high school, she attended the University of Montana and graduated with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Military Science, receiving a commission as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve.
After graduating from college, Janice completed her military service with two years active duty as an officer in a Field Artillery Unit. After leaving the military, she worked with a variety of state, residential, and vocational programs working with people with disabilities. This included working with individuals with developmentally disabilities, mental illness, physical disabilities, and the elderly.
Throughout Janice's work experience she has strongly advocated for the individuals she served. Janice says she is thrilled to be working full time focusing on advocating for all individuals with disabilities.
