Susie is the President of the Board of Directors.  She has served as Board President since January 2008.  As Board President, Susie keeps the meetings focused and timely.  As a Board member, she provides leadership and assists with decisions regarding the budget and priorities.

Susie volunteers on the Board of Directors as she believes that all people have a spark of the sacred and are deserving of dignity and respect.  She wants to live in a community that respects and values all of its members.  As a person who struggles with mental illness, she does not want pity.  She wants the right and the freedom to live a happy, productive life.  Disability Rights Montana helps make that possible for many people across Montana and she likes to be a part of that mission.

Susie works at the Great Falls Public LIbrary.  She is a second-degree black belt.  She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Montana in 1991 and received her Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of Washington in 1996.
